Luovalauantai - Toive - A Wish

Digital Collage by Itkupilli

If you want what visible reality
can give, you're an employee.
If you want the unseen world,
you're not living your truth.
Both wishes are foolish,
but you'll be forgiven for forgetting
that what you really want is
love's confusing joy.

I loved this post too, Kirsi. I sometimes mention what the late Spaulding Gray termed "a perfect moment". I've had the great gift of experiencing many of those in my lifetime. I'm thinking that this is what Rumi is talking about because the feeling is decidedly that of "love's confusing joy" when, inside that moment, you have this limitless peace that you never want to lose ... I suppose that's how heaven must be and, yes, I believe that we often get to experience heaven right here on earth. :)

Amen Mick. I believe that really those moments, when we can focus on present moment, without past or future, are heavenly moments. They are presents of peaceful and grateful mind. Moments when we listen our hearts instead of rational mind. :))

Tim,

For me it means, that I have followed my heart, walked to the unknown. If I would have analyzed or tryed to find any reason, I think I'd would have refused and just have given up my dreams as impossible idea.

But I accept the unknown and confusing nature of love, there is no reason, it just is what it is.

I am happy. I haven't been able to this before, but now I live every moment grateful. I have found something so precious that I wouldn't have never been able to even dream about it. :))
